Description

ProPrep™ Genomic Kit

  • Based upon the unique protein extraction reagent, ProCipitate™
  • Designed for 96-100 preps direct lysis of 50ul whole blood.
  • Does not require reduction to buffy coat to maintain PCR suitability down to 1 ng template DNA
  • Extremely rapid and easy-to-use. Amenable to robotic automation.

ProPrep™ Genomic 100 is a complete nucleic acid purification system based upon the unique protein extraction reagent, ProCipitate™. The basic protocol includes one step lysis of cells, followed by removal of contaminating proteins and heme with ProCipitate™. The system is designed for 96-100 preps well direct lysis of 50ul whole blood. It is the only such system that does not require reduction to buffy coat in order to maintain consistently reliable PCR quality Genomic DNA. The ProPrep™ Genomic 100 is extremely rapid and easy-to-use. The resulting DNA can be immediately applied to PCR with simple dilution, no alcohol precipitation required.
