A: Cleanascite is very specific for lipids. It will remove lipids from human serum without effecting any other proteins/enzymes. But to be very straightforward we have not tested it in clinical samples. You can try and let us know if our products worked well for you.
A: Yes.
A: Around 10-15 mg of Hemoglobin binds to one ml of Hemoglobind.
Yes, you can process up to 500 ul with total protein concentrations less than 3 mg/ml.
A: Yes, Procipitate will work with DNA oligonucleotides
A: Yes, please contact Biotech Support Group for expert advice.
A: Yes.
A: Thank you very much for your interest in HemogloBind™ and HemoVoid™. Biotech Support Group has two types of of hemoglobin removal agents. HemogloBind™ is engineered for a high degree of hemoglobin binding selectivity and does not cross react with most common serum components. HemogloBind™'s binding capacity for hemoglobin is approximately 10mg/ml of hemoglobin. HemogloBind™ is used mostly on hemolysed serum. HemoVoid™ does not bind to hemoglobin but does bind to other proteins. So it removes hemoglobin from erythrocyte lysate samples while concentrating low abundance, and/or low molecular weight proteins. HemoVoid™ is used mostly on red cell lysates for proteomic studies of the preserved enzymes that are retained in elution fractions.
A: Albumin depletes human albumin and any other species(human, sheep, bovine, goat, rat, and calf) from tissue culture, cell culture, serum samples, blood, hybidomas.
A: The sample is probably saturated with hemoglobin. Try to use less of volume of the sample and more Hemoglobind. Or try Hemovoid.
A: Yes.
A: Yes
A: Yes because of the mild elution the eluted fractions retain their enzymatic and biological activity
A: AlbuVoid does not bind albumin. Albumin voids in flow-through >95%, with <30 minute bind/wash/elute protocol. All other proteins(except albumin) in the sample binds to AlbuVoid and then you can elute off all the proteins minus the albumin. Resulting in low abundance serum protein ernrichment.
A: Yes, AlbuVoid depletes mouse albumin.
A: Albumin depletes human albumin and any other species(human, sheep, bovine, goat, rat, and calf) from tissue culture, cell culture, serum samples, blood, hybidomas.
A: After arrival, the product should be refrigerated. See the instructions for each product.
A: All the products are shipped with UPS or FedEx either overnight or second day.
A: Spin-X tube is a filter unit. It is manufactured by Corning and is used with AlbuVoid, Albusorb, Hemoglobind, Hemovoid.
A: Yes, please email sales@biotechsupportgroup for a MSDS on a BSG product
A:We don't know the concentration and were so far not able to visualize it on SDS-PAGE with Coomassie. We don't know the molecular weight of the antigen.
A: 1%-2% Zwittergent are expected to be required to maintain solubility.
A: The Viraffinity/ViraPrep protocol starts with clarified homogenates, so cellular debris should be removed in this step either by centrifigation or microfiltration. Any remaining soluble material, especially nucleic acids and most protein, should be removed from sample after use of the Viraffinity/ViraPrep protocol.
A:ViraPrep Mammal is a kit containing the necessary buffers and Viraffinity; Viraffinity is the reagent only. For new users, we recommend the kit.
